College Option for Weissman Students (BA Degree)
There are three versions of the College Option for students receiving the BA degree from the Weissman School of Arts and Sciences:
- Students entering Baruch or opting into Pathways in fall 2013;
- Students entering Baruch or opting into Pathways from spring – fall 2014; and
- Students entering Baruch or opting into Pathways starting spring 2015.
For all three versions, the following table explains the College Option (COPT) requirements for students.

I. For students entering Baruch or opting into Pathways in fall 2013, please follow the four courses below (all three-credit) of the Weissman School College Option:

Notes:
- The liberal arts minor cannot be within the same area of study as the major. This is also true for students who are required to complete part of the minor for the College Option.
- There is no GPA stipulation attached to the College Option courses, but in order to graduate with the liberal arts minor on the final transcript, a student must have a grade point average of at least 2.00 in the three courses that make up his or her liberal arts minor.
